High Spec Composites was delighted to once again support the Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards in 2026, marking our tenth consecutive year of involvement with one of the county’s most prestigious celebrations of apprenticeship excellence.
This year’s awards were particularly special as the Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards celebrated their 10th anniversary, recognising a decade of inspiring apprentices, employers, training providers and skills champions who are helping to shape Oxfordshire’s future workforce. The celebration evening took place on 21 May 2026 at the stunning Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, the University of Oxford’s new world-class centre for arts and humanities.
For High Spec Composites, supporting the awards goes far beyond sponsorship. As well as being a proud event sponsor, our Co-Founder and Executive Director, Sarah Jaycock, continues to play a key role as a member of the Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards Committee and once again co-hosted the evening’s celebrations.
Sarah has long been a passionate advocate for apprenticeships and skills development, championing the opportunities that apprenticeships create for individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
Speaking about the event, Sarah said:

Another of High Spec Composites’ contributions to the awards is the iconic illuminated LED balloon table centrepieces that have become a much-loved feature of the celebration evening.
Each year, High Spec supplies these spectacular centrepieces to help create a memorable atmosphere for finalists, sponsors and guests. At the end of the evening, attendees are invited to take a centrepiece home in exchange for a charitable donation, helping to raise additional funds for the event’s nominated charity while ensuring the displays can continue to bring enjoyment beyond the awards night itself.
This tradition reflects our commitment not only to supporting apprenticeships but also to giving back to the wider community and helping worthy causes benefit from the generosity of those attending the event.
Since the awards were first established in 2017, they have grown into a highly respected fixture in Oxfordshire’s business and skills calendar, shining a spotlight on outstanding apprenticeship success stories and demonstrating the positive impact apprenticeships have on careers, businesses and economic growth across the region.
