Earlier this year, we announced that in November our High Spec team – joined by our families – would be taking on Run Fest Silverstone. The plan was simple: not to chase personal bests or podium finishes, but to mark 15 years in business by celebrating the values that have carried us this far:
- Teamwork
- Community focus
- Family spirit
- A passion for motorsport
What began as a celebration now carries even greater meaning. With the heartbreaking loss of our dad, friend, and colleague Chris Jaycock, we will be running this challenge in his memory.
Chris lived out these values every day. He was always ready to roll up his sleeves, lend a hand, and support those around him. His generosity and commitment left a mark not only on our business but on everyone who had the privilege to know or work with him. As we take to the iconic Silverstone track, we’ll do so in celebration of his life and the positive difference he made.
At the same time, we are proud to be contributing to Raise’25, the B4-powered initiative supporting local charities across Oxfordshire. Raise’25 has set itself an ambitious target — and thanks to a generous anonymous backer, every £1 donated will be match-funded up to £50,000. That means your support is worth double. Even Gift Aid will be matched, multiplying the impact to as much as 2.5× the original donation.
The funds raised will go towards 12 Oxfordshire charities, tackling issues from mental health and homelessness to rural isolation, youth opportunities, and palliative care. By joining Raise’25, we’re helping to ensure that Chris’s spirit of supporting others lives on through lasting community impact.
This run is about more than miles on the track. It’s about honouring Chris, celebrating 15 years of High Spec, and working together to make a real difference for those who need it most.
