Our growing team of Composite Technicians are continually trained and monitored against a celebrated in-house skills matrix, ensuring each process and project is assigned the best person for the job. The matrix, as well as proving a great tool for job assignment, provides our employees ongoing opportunities to progress professionally and financially.

Though our core ambition is to provide the best possible services and components to existing clients, our plans for the future extend beyond the business; we aim to encourage and inspire the next generation of Engineers and use our knowledge and experience derived from Motorsport to move Composites into new and innovative sectors.

High Spec Composites began in June 2010 when husband and wife team, Matt and Sarah Jaycock, took on the challenge of turning fifteen years’ experience and a joint desire to progress into an operational business.

Throughout the first ten years of trading, we evolved from a husband and wife team working from a restrictive, rented facility, into a fully functioning team of Technicians, Administration Staff and Management working from 6700sq ft of well-equipped factory and office units situated in Motorsport Valley.

The company’s growth has been somewhat organic, with all machinery and development being self-funded and in-house progression remaining a key focus.

Our facility, capabilities and business ethos have not only proved popular with Formula One teams and industries embracing composite technologies, but also with the education systems training young persons for careers in Motorsport and with business networks across the county.

High Spec have won numerous awards since establishment in 2010, including Apprenticeship of the Year 2016, Small Business of the Year 2018 at the Cherwell Business Awards and Young Business Person of the Year at the prestigious Oxfordshire Business Awards 2019.
