On Monday 6th October 2025, High Spec had the pleasure of taking part in the UK Government’s Domestic Roadshow visit to Oxfordshire, hosted by the UK’s Ambassador to the EU, Lindsay Croisdale-Appleby.
The day began with a roundtable discussion at Bicester Motion, bringing together innovative businesses across the mobility and advanced engineering sectors. Our director, Sarah, was proud to represent High Spec in these conversations, sharing insights and exploring the opportunities for growth and collaboration within European markets.
It was an inspiring forum where local expertise met international perspective, and we were delighted to see Oxfordshire businesses demonstrating the region’s strength in innovation and ambition.
Following the roundtable, Sarah had the unique opportunity to take a Ferrari from Hedley Studios for a drive around the historic grounds – a memorable highlight that reflected the spirit of creativity and engineering excellence at the heart of the event.
In the evening, the focus shifted to Blenheim Palace, where both Sarah and Matt joined a networking reception bringing together businesses from across Oxfordshire with the Ambassador and his team. This provided an invaluable chance to discuss how organisations like High Spec can contribute to strengthening international trade and building lasting partnerships.
We are grateful to Oxfordshire County Council for the invitation and for championing local businesses on such a significant stage. For High Spec, being part of these conversations reinforced our commitment to driving innovation and seizing new opportunities for growth — both at home and abroad.
